Summer Evening

Lake Pontchartrain

The lake was still kicking up from a late afternoon thunderstorm on the northshore. Just our typical July weather, storming one minute and sunshine the next. You can see the debris that was raked off the walking/bicycle path left by Tropical Storm Cindy.

I smell the sea breeze coming in off the water. Nice light on this one Coleen!

The colors are so vivid, and it looks like such a lovely spot.

Nice spot for a stroll ... the eventing light is very pretty! :)

I was wondering what the debris were... Nice scenery. The lake looks pretty against the blue sky.

Beautiful evening glow. Looks like the front that is blowing through Nashville today hit there yesterday. Any predictions on bad weather from the hurricane moving into Texas?

I bet it's a welcome breeze coming off that lake now, just enough to cool things. It's an appealing image with the late afternoon sun and the lone walker.

Nice water scene. Do not see her pooper scooper.

What a nice spot for a walk. And it does look there was a big blow. We've been having the same weather. Rain, thunderstorms and sun every day. Hot and humid. Wears me out. :) Nice light here and I like the way woman and dog pick it up.

That's very choppy. I guess storm season is not over yet either.

Looks like this area weathered pretty well in the aftermath.
