Bridal Portrait

Hamilton, Ohio

I did my second "official" wedding today and my first outside. Awoke this morning to steady rain and thunder. I was a little worried. The "plan B" for moving the ceremony indoors involved putting 60 people in a 40 person capacity room. Well, it was extremely hot and humid (my lens kept fogging up outside), but the rain stayed away for most of the day and we managed outside shots, even though it was very gray.

I, of course, am just starting to go through the shots, but here is one I liked so far. What do you think? Below are a few more from this afternoon. The first one there (like the one above, only she's looking at the camera) is my favorite so far. There will be a full gallery up after I get them all edited.

I think you did a wonderful job exposing this. I suppose on one level you were helped by the flat light but oh how frustrating to have to try and shoot when your lens keeps fogging. I wonder whether there is a good fix for that. The bride looks beautiful here and if the rest of your shots are anything like this I am sure the happy couple will be thrilled.

Good exposure! The contrast range looks great!
