The summer Milky Way near the Galactic core of our Galaxy. This widefield shot stretches from M16 near the top to M8 and down towards the Galactic Core. Taken with a Canon 1D Mark II and a Canon 85mm f1.8 lens. Same details as the previous image, just some labels of some major items, some of these items are featured in other images in this gallery.
