This is an idea in my mind's eye. I see something, I just don't know if I can get there. I am a very competent photographer...I can take pictures, but, but, but...can I make the next level for me, as a person? I guess I've got two weeks to find out...lol

I understnad. II just think it might be more effective if the angles of the inset image were perpendicular to the water's edge.

Traveller, Consider doing a mirror image of the beach image. I think it might be more effective if the door way seemed to be leading directly out to sea rather than at an angle. If this doesn't make any sense to you, I assure you the fault is mine.

I think you need to fade the edges of the inset image into its surroundings. The colors in the back of the inset work great with the clouds. ~ Lonnit
