I have almost no night photos from around the city. The problem is that it's a pain to go out around 8:30pm carrying a tripod for miles to take photos. A car would make things much simpler. This was shot handheld.

Nikon D70 ,Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8D ED-IF AF-S
1/60s f/2.8 at 80.0mm (non-AFS, it's lighter) 800iso full exif

Very nice.. handheld, no less. I like the repetition of shapes in the fountain and capitol dome. Well done.

No.... in the best sense of weighted and repeated forms, the fountain is well placed, though if it were a tad smaller or lower in the frame it would be even better.

Well executed, however the fountain distracts from the Capitol. The eye wants to look in two places.
