7/10: What It Is

Yesterday's abstract was an edge of this mirror. It is an antique mirror my wife just purchased at an Architectural Surplus store. The mirror is six feet tall and five feet wide.

It only reflects in black and white because it's so old.

Amy Capelli and Gail Davison were the only ones to get it. Good job Amy and Gail!

Hehehhh... Of course you are kidding Jeremy about b&w.
I can see in the second photo of the yesterday's detail the colour reflection;)

That was like taking a Mensa test! What a creative way to present a picture. Beautiful mirror and picture. But a color-blind mirror? I guess it would go well on that oceanfront property in Arizona :)

"It only reflects in black and white because it's so old." LOL, that really did have me in stitches.

A mirror that reflects only in Black and white? I did not even know such a mirror existed and now I want to get one myself. It is a great find, and a great image as well.

That is gorgeous. Your wife found a fabulouse piece. Love the ps work too. Deciding to make the reflections black and white gives it the feel of a portal into another dimension.

Good one Jeremy. Now you have a mirror that can handle any increase girth you have in the coming years.
Guest 11-Jul-2005 08:16

Nice effect here. The blinds look real nice in the reflection.
I guessed wrong too, oh well. Maybe next time you have an
abstract I'll get it right.
Guest 10-Jul-2005 23:57

nice effect here!
Guest 10-Jul-2005 23:24
Great exercise ... sad that it's so old and only reflects in b&w! ;) How about reflecting skinny?
David Clunas10-Jul-2005 22:28
Interesting processing or is it an ageing mirror as well :)
