Under grey skies

Wednesday 6th July - Day 200

For some reason, I was unable to access any news sites at lunchtime today, did I miss some news? ;))

I've been feeling another study coming on for a while, but I didnt know what. Then it hit me, or rather I realised I was staring at it. Across the road are some allotments. These are being closed soon for housing developments, and although the allotment 'owners' are being moved a few hundred metres up the road, it means that they have to start again, on land that isnt as good. I thought that I might try and catalogue these allotments as they closed down. As you can see, parts are still thriving in amongst the wildness surrounding it

How can the sky be so gray and the field be so golden. Lovely, for posterity.

It looks very wild and windswept ... nice find. It will be fun to follow the 'progress' ... ;)

London got the 2012 Olympics. That's the only news I've heard today.
Beautiful shot. Quite a dangerous looking sky.

The colors are beautiful. The sky is very dynamic, and you've captured it well. What is an allotment?
