Mister Alpaslan invited me into his workshop (where he covers copper kettles and such with tin, like I show in my Gaziantep gallery). He wanted to have his picture taken in front of the pictures of Atatürk ("Do you know who that is? He was a great man". He was pleasantly surpised that I did.)

When the pictures get rearranged he will lose his place of honour opening this gallery, but I may keep him on as the "representative picture" for Sinop, he was so kind.
