Hibernation

During winter, the Grizzly Bears sleep behind a thick pane of often grubby glass.
In order to sharpen this shot, I used Paint Shop Pro and under the Adjust tab, applied the following:
Automatic Color Balance: Strength = 20, Temperature = 6407
Automatic Contrast Enhancement: Bias = neutral, Strength = mild, Appearance = Natural
Clarify: Strength = 3
Unsharp Mask: Radius = 1, Strength = 35, Clipping = 1

Total time spent: less than a minute

Panasonic DMC-FZ10 ,Auto exposure

other sizes: small medium original auto

I bet your eyes saw almost the right image but cameras don't.Congrats for this fine job. Ed Duverger

Stunning, generally we try the case dark to clear as the post of Tim.

I'll be interested to know if it works for you. I usually have pretty good luck with minimum fiddling, unless the window happens to have reflections in it, in which case it's usually a lost cause. One other thing I sometimes tweak (although I didn't in this one) is the gamma correction. ~ Ang
