"We took a driving trip to Donalda and came upon a old homestead. I could only get inside about ten feet as the building was leaning. My mind went down memory lane. I came out of the home with mixed feelings how little these people had but rich in family values. In fact I bet they were very happy. As you can see by the photo the curtains on the door have seen their better days. The home was in a pretty setting on the prairies, the family room overlooked a large slough. I can only think of the cold winters with many miles between neighbors and the happiness of the comming of spring. Yes, those were the days.
