Brittle is the one-word assignment for my photog group. Asked the kids what I should do. Oldest kid said I should take a picture of an old lady. I thought that mean and untimely, older women can be quite resilient. Younger kids asked what does "brittle" mean? Stiff and easily broken, I told them. Spaghetti noodles. Good thing we have dogs to clean up the brittle mess.
