This was actually one of the first in the series of this spider. When I arrived he had the little "sweat bee" all wrapped up. But the bee was still struggling mightily, not at all paralyzed. As I kept shooting, he worked his head free and the spider apparently had enough, and actually began unwrapping him. After about 15 minutes the bee was held only by his lower abdomen and I was out of time. I have shot sweat bees before and they are always very dark, and not translucent like ants, making them difficult subjects. Plus at this magnification only about 10% of the shots are in good focus.
