+ Garden Pearl -gheil

Whidbey I, WA

Got the Minolta Blue camera dead center in this shot all due to mirror geometry;) Good thing they make big cams for photogs with big hands. Of course that gardens spherical lens is suffering the fate of all things left in nature... At least there were none of our famous banana slugs crawling over. That would have really messed the blue theme.

Yeah, i agree, i was considering reverting the A1 back to its `as shot' Blue color, and you tipped me over. The A1 is the subject and deserves not only center place but standout full color!

i don't recommend one of these blue garden pearls as a panorama attachment: the chroma noise is spectacular, especially on flesh tones;) Really. i know Seattleites have a reputation for being pasty looking but this color balance is something else! The un colored ones however can, if clean, give a slightly more workable image.

Very creative Greg. You look like the subject to me and you're not blue, so maybe this isn't the strongest fit for the theme. However, I like your use of the convex mirror in your garden to create the fisheye effect. May it should be a regular add-on for your A1, although you'd need to live with having the A1 in every photo of course. ;^) The addition of the girl/woman at the left adds something, as does the uncolorised seat and the path to connect the uncolorised elements.
