800 W.Ferry St. Buffalo

Built in 1929, is one of very few high-rise aprtment buildings in Buffalo.

This building was actually built, well funded by Darwin Martin's spoiled son. The rumors abound that he took many of the interior components of the Martin House and put them into this building complex. It was said he was jealous of his father's friendship with Frank Lloyd Wright which is one the reasons he disliked the home so much.
While Darwin Martin's son was in architecturely terms a "puts", he did build a rather beautiful building.
It has always reminded me, being a child of 1980's, the building from the original "Ghostbusters".
