Superb Adrian,

Superb Adrian. The ISO800 grain (or is there some added noise?) works exceptionally well here. Your composition and use of DOF are spot on for the instrument and player, although I feel that the instrument itself, as the main subject, shouldn't be so central. I think I know why you left the blank space to the right of the face, but it seems to be to be wrong for the instrument. Maybe a tighter crop at the right and maybe a wider crop at the left would do it for me, but I'm not sure. However, that is only a small side issue. I like this shot very much and it's perfect for the blues theme. I was hoping someone would do something musically bluesy and I'd hoped it would be good, and you have really delivered, so I guess I'm a lucky guy! :^)
