Following delay, after delay I finally caught the train back up to Aberdeen. No sooner had I got
on the train I had to conference back into the office to discuss a report. No sooner had I got
into the conference call, but my phone ran out of juice.
Thankfully we're now seeing train companies starting, who really seem to understand the concept of
customer service. Whilst I was looking to see if they still had payphones on board, one of the
customer service managers noticed me wondering around (apparently) aimlessly. After an
explaination that they no longer have something as quaint as a payphone, he handed over his mobile
phone, so I could call back in! Top marks go to GNER & their customer service guys.
With the phonecall complete, I was able to relax and enjoy the journey. And more importantly,
enjoy the views. As the title suggests, this was taken from the train, through the window, whilst
crossing the Tay Rail Bridge!
