As you can see from the light, we were going through one of the best three day spells of weather I
think this year. All day they had been forecasting rain, and other than a couple of spots during
the day we escaped unscathed.

It was another day spent out in the garden relaxing with my family. That was about as exciting as
things got!

This is a shot of one of the peony roses my mum's planted. In a house filled with three boys summer
was usually punctuated with shouts of "keep that football away from my peony roses", "I mean it",
and "what did I just say". I don't think they ever made it to flower yet. It was only a couple of
years ago I actually learned what a peony rose was. So a lot of the day was spent taunting her with
threats of going to get a football to continue tradition!

Back on my travels this week, so its likely to be Thursday before I post again.
