Thanks for your comments. This is originally a color digital picture converted to B&W.
The borders are digital and created with Photo Frame 2.5. It is a Photoshop Plug-In Program by a company called Extensis. - www.extensis.com
It works as a "filter" under PS and is very versatile with 100's of different style of borders with options for shadows, colors, etc. If you look at my galleries you will see that I almost never use it (only two pictures ever) but I strongly recommend Photo Frame for those who like to create those artistic effects.
