This is the Amazone river that crosses the dense Amazon forest that covers the southern regions of Colombia, Peru and Brazil. Near this point, the borders of all three countries intersect with each other.
Colombia have designated this region as a protected national park called Amakayaku National Park, which is immensely rich in fauna and flora, including the mythical amazone "pink" dolphins, which are still frequently seen in its waters, as well as the smaller gray dolphins, not to mention the thousand other species.
