My friend spent the night in the dome watching the comet Tempel 1 fly by the stars.

I spent the night outside with the D70 connected to his telescope photographing the comet and other
objects. This night was different in that I brought the laptop along and used the Nikon Camera
Control software to setup the camera and activate the shutter. Also helped to view the pictures
on the big laptop screen instead of the small camera LCD screen.
