On my trip to the Elk valley I saw, on one day, more Elk than could be counted, a group of Rocky Mountain sheep, a Moose, a bear (not sure what type), and some deer, and these were just the large mammals and all from the car as we were making the relatively short drives between locations!

This valley, nestled in the south east corner of BC is teeming with wildlife. I took these Elk pictures one evening, I drove back to a meadow where we spotted some Elk the night before hoping to get a few shots in - it is not hard to get lucky in this valley!
