Instead of normal seats, the bus was fixed with 30 beds. you have to travel in this bus overnight (15 hrs) from Urumqi to Burqin. I tried not to imagine when was the last time the blankets and mattress were washed.
I travelled from Lijiang to Kumming with bed bus too... the experience was terrible. I just had difficult to seat on my bed even I'm not tall. Not mention how dirty it was, it leaked water during the night rain. so, we couldn't sleep... can't agree with you anymore that we had better not to think about when did they wash the pillows, blankets and duvets!
