31-MAY-2005

31-05-05 grrr.

It was a wee short trip along Haymarket terrace this afternoon. I had enough time for a run around
the zoo.

As previously, there are a lot more shots to follow, but with the added pressure on uploads just
now I’ll keep them until we have access to broadband again. And begin filling up my extra 100Mb of
storage space on pbase!!!!!!

The interesting thing about this cool cat, was the reaction you get out of him. In a similar
manner to Chris’s femme fatale, you really see that the instincts bred into these animals
cannot be trained out of them. Twice now I’ve been in front of this screen, when a kid’s started
crying. Twice now I’ve watched him switch on at the sound of something small in distress. It left
me with a horrible feeling. A mixture of angst, horror and awe.

The other shot for the day is another view from the zoo.

Love that wide angle view. How close were you to that cat?

This is great ...
The tiger looks like a real 'pussy cat' here ...
Great perspective ...

Beauty perspective. Almost fisheyed from the angle. Quiet strength in the set jaw and massive paws
