These large dramatic rock formations protruding out of the Pacific Ocean are called haystacks and can be seen at several locations on the Oregon coast. They look fantastic in a storm but it was sunny when we were there early one morning in summer. This haystack is near to Cannon Beach on the northern part of the Oregon coast.
