Hey Helen.......this is such a funny custom in Japan. It's very entertaining seeing all the girls dressed in their Komono's running to the little photo booths to get their pictures taken together. I went around and asked a bunch for their pictures and they were too shy many times (even when right in front of the photo booths that they just got out of). Contradiction in Terms is right!
