Colors to "Allah" !

Madurai

Let me take you once to the Muslim area. A little further then the big Mosque in front of the central bus stand, you find this old one an inspiration to color the sky.
Indeed defying all laws of equilibrium and contrast light at noon, I tried to beat the limits of my tool, light-adjusting to the sky and framing again and again, waited for the sun to hide behind the clouds and till the bird wanted to make his appearance and my head became dizzy.

Stepping in the shoes for a moment of Muslim faith I went back to the roots finding "al-Illah", a tittle of honor to name all the divers Gods and Hubal was one of them. Addu'l-Muttalib, the grandfather of Mohammed prayed to Hubal witht the name Allah. From since then the name of Allah cries throughout the universe that he is the greatest of them all, like you can see here by the colors that even in the midst of Hindu faith, all are moved to respect.

Enjoy this colored expression of deep faith.

The colors are indeed stunning.

Just for clarification, Illah means "gods". The old arabs used to pray to their Illahs--their many gods.

Allah means One God only. The grandfather of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did not believe in One God, this he prayed to Hubal.
I just wanted to clarify that One God can oly be singular and thus referred to Allah or God, as opposed to gods such as hubal or Illah (Illah or Al-Illah), or the Hindu gods.
