What's the difference bewteen it and the common serpent -eagles in Southeast Asia? Plus,the latter live widely in Southeast Asia,even in my hometown-Nanjing,southern part of the Jiangsu Province,China.

Great Quality, sharp picture. Any problems with the lens on the Canon 20D locking up? Because im deciding to purchase one of these lenses, and would like to hear from other Photographers what there experience with this Combination is.

About the only thing not perfect with this photo IMHO is the slight underexposure in the underparts - my DG Super can't reach the raptor (in excess of 100 feet) even with the Better Beamer flash extender. I was shooting from on top of a ravine, giving me an eye-level vantage point. The focus, background, wing position, and even the slight opening of the bird's curved bill are as good as I can wish for. Again, the 20D + 400 5.6L + Tamron 1.4x TC delivered good AF, even at f/8.
