This is an area called The Staffordshire Moorlands - part of the Peak National Park.
Staffordshire was recently assessed as the worst English county to live in based on a 'Quality of Life' score!
But Staffordshire is my home county and where the Waine's have been recorded since records began in the 1500's.
This wonderful (largely unspoilt) area lies between Birmingham and Manchester, and just off the picture lies the highest village in Britain - Flash (great name for a small village, eh?)
The local beers, cheese and 'Oatcakes' justify a visit to this secret corner, as well as views like this!
