Northern Saw-whet Owl

Maple Canyon

My aunt Wanda and I were out on the search for some bears this evening.
We stopped at a tree that she had seen a grouse in a few days ago,
and as we were looking we spotted some owls. 5 of them.
But zero bears. This was better, I have seen bears before, not these.

Wes,

thanks again for going on that hike with Me. It wouldn't have been the same without you. Thanks to your sharp eyes I got to see something I had never seen before! I wonder if we go back up there again in a day or two if the family of owls will be in the same tree?

Great pictures! Thanks for capturing the moment.

Wanda
