Cropped the image to center on the leaf. I liked the structure and texture and enhanced those attributes by adjustment layers for levels and curves as well as shadow/highlight filter. Used Paint With Light (a dodging and burning action at http://www.atncentral.com) to bring out more detail. Finally, increased saturation a bit and sharpened the leaf only.
