I used two stainless steel screws to hold the piece in place and used nylon cap nuts to cover the bolt ends. If you have talent in working with plastics this could be done a little more eloquently. But with a console in place its not that visible. I could not find 8mm stainless steel cap nuts so I used 3/8" nylon which the bolts cut its own threads into.
