Moon-glow

While taking our dog out for last call, noticed this unusual sky. Returned for a couple tries.
The normal sized format was lacking, so experimented and finally opted for this broader sky effect.
I used a monopod braced between my car's mirror and frame and shot six images.
Even at ISO 400, I was down to 1/6 sec. esposure time. So there was some luck involved here.

Richard, I don't there was much luck involved, these photos are really hard to expose right; this one came out really well. I think you're right about using a wider format; it would be easy to crop this one nearly square, but it wouldn't look right, it needs a little darkness on the sides.
