Beautiful shot. Looks like a tamarack or larch. We have them here in Newfoundland, as well and they always point east - from prevailing westerlies.

I like the form here. Looks like the wind really blows hard left to right. Nice for a summer afternoon but I bet I would pass on a winters day. Just a touch more frame to the right would make it. It's something I have to watch constantly myself. Very nice images overall.
