Jasper on the prowl

Two new experiences one for me using the my new Pro 1 and also for Jasper. We had just moved house and now live next to a busy road (we used to live more than 1/4 mile from the nearest road) The new house is open and exposed (the old house was set in Birchwood). We now find it hard to let this freedom loving cat out to wander on his own so every night we walk him down to the river and along the river bank and he just pads along behind us and has a great time exploring every hole and smell he comes across. The only problem is getting home :-( but he's slowly settling into his new territory.

Good shot! He really is black and that's hard to do so well. I'm sure he'll adjust to his new surroundings quickly.

Nice low angle composition. Hard subject to photograph, black critter.

Excellant picture. Watch out for critters that may be dangerous to cats living along the river.

A wonderful pic. and I agree with Isabel, he looks like he is walking right out of the pic.

Glad you're watching out for this precious cat. Fabulous image of a black cat! They're so hard to photograph! He's practically walking out of the picture (of course that might have something to do with the fact that I've just returned from the eye doctor and one of my pupils is huge and the eye is way out of whack!)
