(158th Infantry Regiment and the 258th Infantry Brigade)
are indicated by the colors blue and white; traditional
colors of the infantry. The bushmaster snake coiled around
a brush-cutting machete is symbolic of the Canal Zone jungles
and refers to service in that area during World War II.
