I am very encouraged by all of the great points and observations. I love a good critique.
These images of the Vespas were taken a few minutes before my train arrived for boarding in Rome.
I hope to have an oportunity to go back to Europe soon and apply all this good advice.

I agree with John, make use of the mirror. But, there are things I like about this image--red and rain and angle.--Rene

Hi Gil, and welcome to pbase. As Phil implied, we are in the drivers seat. If possible I would have liked to see the mirror put to use. Your image or someone else being reflected. It appears that the bike was not moving at the time the image was created.
You put the driver into this picture, Gil, in an abstract and incongruous manner. He can't see! You are challenging all of us to drive blind with you. And that would be very foolish, right? And foolishness is a human value. That's why I find this image so expressive.
