We spent the evening at Iain and Becky's house. They invited the dogs over too, and their three cats would have to put up with it! This is Gizmo, who can't believe what he can see. A big bad dog's face looking out through his own cat flap! This stand off lasted about an hour, before Arch found another of our hosts cats, already inside. We ended up with poor old Arch on his lead, tied to the sofa.
Still no broadband. So, want another example of BT's wonderful service? How about selling off customer email addresses to spammers? What? That's against their policy, as they pointed out when I complained. But how else could I be recieving spam on a BT email address that I have never (repeat n-e-v-e-r) given out to anyone? Not only that but the spam I recieve is addressed to a group of other addresses which all start with the same 7 characters and all end in @btinternet.com. All neatly sorted alphbetically. Coincidence? Not a chance. Some toe rag employee is/was making cash on the side by ripping off disks full of addresses. Of course, I can't prove a thing, but neither can BT come up with an explaination other than, no, it's not our policy to do that.
