Farewell My Friend

Silver Lake Nature Center, Bristol PA

Since that darn "life" thing happened again I couldn't get back to the Nature Center until today. My little friend has passed the branching phase and taken flight. I'm sorry that I couldn't be there for her or his maiden flight, but since these birds generally don't travel too far from their nesting area I hope to see them again somewhere in the Nature Center. Also, I hope they remember me and let the man with the camera get a couple more shots of them.

Oh My God! I just LOVE this picture! It reminds Me of a baby owl our family had when I was a little girl. They are so cute when they still have a bit of their downy fluff! Thank you for sharing. (warm smile)

Hello Jeffery, thanks a lot for visiting my pbase and leaving your comment. You also have a lot of beautiful pictures here.

This is a fantastic portrait. This owl is looking so seriously, it seems (s)he wants to ask you if you asked her/him for admission taking this picture. :)

Please have a nice Tuesday. Best greetings from Germany, Jens.
