I was contemplating visiting the cinema to see what promised to be an interesting movie about Gelibolu (the Dardanelles fights in WW I) when I was approached by a group of high-school ("Lise") pupils. They first asked some general questions, then explained they were instructed by their teachers to speak with tourists to improve their English. I was flattered, and even more so when they started "taping" me with their mobile phones, so they could later have the rest of the class enjoy my words of wisdom. Then the mobiles were used to take my picture, I promised them in due course they could see themselves on my site. So here goes, boys and girls. Thanks for all the fun.
I never saw the movie.
