This is a special family portrait.
This beautiful story started two years ago when my dear friend, Christine, married Jeff. I’ve been friends with Christine for more years than not in my life so it brought me such joy to see how much happiness Jeff brought to Christine’s life (and vice-a-versa).
This story continued to unfold when little Tom-Tom was born seven months ago. He is certainly one handsome and entertaining boy! It was such a pleasure meeting him today.
Raising a child is by no means easy. To be responsible for another person’s every worldly need has to be draining. Despite their hectic schedules, Christine and Jeff opened up their home to a couple of friends (including me) and fed us like kings.
Watching Christine and Jeff interact with little Tommy (and each other) was uplifting.
Having a baby drastically changes one’s life…Christine and Jeff move through their days with Tommy with such grace.
One never knows what life is going to deal for the next hand (even if you are counting cards). But, somehow I know that the next chapter of this story will be an even more glorious page turner.
