Cut down in their prime April 25

Tragedy continues to haunt the remaining Peeps. Today about eight Peeps attempted to flee what they have begun to call "The House of Death". Returning home, I spotted what I thought was confetti strewn around the backyard and wondered what celebration had taken place while I was at work. To my shock and dismay, I discovered the colorful bodies of Peeps and a distraught lawn care person. "I didn't even see them!" he told me. "They ran out right in front of the mower and were in marshmallowy pieces before I could stop."

They were brought into the house, but it was, obviously too late. Those still remaining are whispering now, hiding in the plastic grocery bag they came home in. I fear a Peep-bellion is fomenting.

And in a life apart from Peeps .. the third in a series of seasonal "tunnel vision" shots:

Those Peeps sure are hitting the news. Squisched, what else could possibly happen to those poor things?

Before mowing the lawn. always check for thingies that could be cut, sliced, decimated, shredded, etc.... sometimes leave them there lol. What are you on at the moment? I think I need some of it :)

What kind of person am I that i would laugh at the demise of all these pastelly peeps? It's a tragedy or a travesty or maybe just a bummer!
