Mike, great advice, as usual. I experimented with cropping it as you advise, and it does look great for the reasons you give. But in the spirit of Cartier-Bresson, who kept cropping and post-processing to a minimum, I've decided to leave the photo as it was snapped. I'll admit that I did crop "The Terrible Twos," but only because the zoom wasn't adequate to frame it as I wanted to when I took the picture. -Colin

Colin, excellent catch! The shoes are an almost perversely contrasting highlight, and the person's dynamic -- especially going OUT of frame -- is perfect for this. The only thing I'd want to do personally to this is crop off the top fairly severely -- down to just above the roofed wall -- as I feel there's just a bit too much spurious sharp detail there at the moment. The slightly panoramic aspect ratio then remaining wouldn't do it any harm at all IMO and may even enhance the effect of the departure. - Mike

Excellent work , the contrast of the figure with the background, her white shoes and the whole way she is dressed brings the whole thing to life. I also think that the positioning of the figure works well, the fact that she's running out of the frame, as if she's leaving behind the mess, also gives the whole thing punch.
