The telescope is stowed by unhooking the connections(they are all wrapped with the pipe insulation you see from the bottom of the computer cart) and the cart is then rolled under the patio and covered.

A desert storm cover is then used to protect the telescope. In really bad weather, I can easily bring the telescope into the house, unlike the previous set-up where the telescope was much heavier and had to be carried a lot farther.
