Antonis is hard to beat but this is still a fabulous picture.

Great shot!

I think this is a very nice image with a great story inside.
And yes I also enjoy a lot the photos by Antonis, as much as yours my friend!!

You did great job with this photo. It`s fantastic!!!

Antonis seems to be developing a stutter... I notice that the saxophonist has a small bag instead of the typical instrument case, usually open ..so I guess he doesn't expect much anyway.

Wow, a great shot Gary! I think the musician is thinking "Loosen up buddy". The small bad in front adds the perfect detail. Gotta vote. Watch out Antonis, maybe there should be a PaD convention in the back hills of Greece :) I'm IN!

This ain't humble, man. What a catch! I'm voting.

He looks as if he might benefit from missing a meal or two himself!

Very nice!

great capture..love his expression..

haha...great candid shot!
the only problem though is antonis generally uses a wide angle lens to shoot his people shots...not to say yours here is not good (you have captured the essence of the message very well). :)

hahaha... hey, maybe he does have a real job though. You can never really tell anymore :S

Jeremy is right, Europe is "the place" to photograph people. Here in San Diego everybody drives or jogs :^)
Guest 19-Apr-2005 05:11
Nice tribute to Antonis, he is quite good at what he does isnt he!

Great street shot. Is that guy holding a camera?
I know what you mean about wanting to emulate Antonis; unfortunately, I think you need to go to Greece, or at least somewhere other than San Diego. People are way too soft and groomed here, especially in So Cal.

Was this guy talking to you or the street performer? ;-)
Excellent b&w finish.

Great street shot and very nice B & W. You've made me feel sorry for the saxophonist and irritated with the prig.
