I love to shoot surfing - and occasionally unridden waves - here in San Diego. I was recently walking the dog around Mission Bay where people boat and ski. I realized the ski boats created a tiny "swell", which broke exactly like real ocean waves when they reached the beach. For a surfer it was quite amazing! They look exactly like the real thing, only in miniature.
