Butterfly Petals (04-17-05)

This butterfly looked so perfectly matched to the blackberry blossoms
that in nearly every position it appeared to be part of the flower.

It showed no interest in any of the other blossoms that it passed by,
including many on the gourd vines.

It seems to be specialized.

I would like to learn more about it.

This is so beautiful. It is hard to see where the flower lets off and the butterfly begins. It reminds me of a quote: "Butterflies.......Flowers that fly and all but sing."-Robert Frost
