is waited for the afternoon. / Sistemation in the hotel El Aurassi.

2° and 3° day - Fly Algeri - Tamanrasset / In the heart of the Hoggar’s region visit to the little city of Tamanrasset situated at 1400 meters of height, 2.000 kilometers south of Algeri, 45.000 inhabitants. / Beautiful views are the lively market, the shops of handicraft, the blockhouse and the first house of father de Foucauld, legendary figure of missionary, the first of the Europeans who at the beginning of XX century approached the Tuareg and studied their language and culture. / Through the track that leads to the center of the massive of the Hoggar, in the heart of the chain of the Atakor. / The lookout of Ahunahamt, spectacular panoramic view to 360°. / It continue towards the Tezuyeg, huge rock walls risen from the edge of the track. / With some sharp curves we arrive to the hill of the Asskrem and therefore to the hermitage of father Charles de Foucauld, that we rejoin on foot after one short climb of approximately 20 minuteren (2.728 m.). / From the summit the landscape is wonderful. / Issakarassen and Ighef Mellen, magnificent embedded water points in basaltic and throats encircled from luxuriant vegetation that rise in the dryness of the surrounding territory. / Exceeded the villages of Hirafok and Ideles progressively we abandon the mountainous part of the large Hoggar following the Wadi of the Quaternary. / Nights in tend.

From the 4° to 7° day - Amadror - Erg Tihodain – Iherir – Dider - Dianet. Following the northeast direction, in the plane of the Amadror the look is captured by large, immense extension where loses itself in a space without borders. / We find the extended volcanic crater of Tissemt whose inside, bottom of an ancient lake, is occupied by salt mines from which the Tuareg taked advantage in far times as goodses of exchange in the markets of the south. /We continue towards the erg Tihodain, isolated group of great dunes. / Across the plane of Afara where live of nomadism shepherds tuareg with their flocks of sheep and camels. / Valley is approached to the massif of Tassili N'Ajjer of sands, stone fungi and towers whose aspect change at the games of light and shadow. / Then we quit the track in order to approach the valley of Iherir, where we arrive after approximately 30 km. / On foot we reach a complex of rich villages of river basins where sweet water fish and animals live and where a particular atmosphere is breathed, the same one of the Tassili of thousands years ago. / Typical the circular huts with conical cover. / We go out from the valley of Iherir in order to resume the track that us guides in the region of Dider, wide space of pasture, shelter for the nomads of this tormented mountain region. / In the middle of the plane appears the sculptutred rock Tin Terhert, a big sandstone shaped like a cupola covered with engraving between which an enormous long bull (more than 4 meters) on whose body are traced geometric spiral figures. / The road reach the highlands and crosses the passage of Tin Taradjeli in order to finish in the Wadi Essendilen. / Little far away Tikobauin, splendid group of stratified rocks that form massifs or raise to small isolated bodies. / On foot to the erg of Admer whose profiles form nearly a wall, between great dunes there is the corridor that leads to Terarart, where can be admired some huge rocks in the bed of the river. On the wall of one of this is deeply designed a drinking ox: true mastership of rocky art. / Little far away, in the small valley of Tin Amali rises a big solar tomb composed of a central tumulus and of two concentric stone circumferences with a longitudinal access: splendid example of neolithic interment. / Djanet, the pearl of the Tassili is composed of three villages and an oasis of 30,000 palms and is inhabited by 5,000 inhabitants. / The visit of the city soon is made: a market with some traders, a blacksmith that creates also jewels in silver, the old Ksar of El Mihan, the tuareg village of Azelouaz. / Supper and night's inside the homes Zeribes.

8° and 9° day - Discovery of frescoes of the Tassili. / Trekking of two days on the plateau. / The vehicles leads to the feet of the pass, 25 kilometers to east of Djanet. / The personal equipment and baggages were loaded on a convoy with asses that will follow the group. / With the guides of the National Park on foot we go up to the akba Arum along a ripid mule-track. / Arrival to the encampment of Giabbaren in approximately 3 hours. / From the edge of the immense plateau panorama on the rocks of the Tassili and more far away towards dunes of the erg of Admer. / Giabbaren is an extraordinary relief of round sandstone cupolas, eroded from the wind and modeled in the shapes more nearly roads and public squares of a fantastic city. / The base of these big mammells, dug from the inclemencies, forms of the shelters that probably have been used like rooms from the primitive people. / The rock walls literally are upholstered from hundred of paintings, all the styles here are represented to testimony of the numerous civilizations that have traced the history of the preistoric Sahara. /Can be followed the presence of the fauna (from the giraffes and rinocerons to the great herds of oxen), a process that covers a progressive climatic change, from a tropical and humid climate to a dry and poor of water climate characterized by the represented personages with round head in a symbolic and monumental style in a marked manner, sometimes with masks, that evoke mysterious ancestral rituals. / The period richer of frescoes corresponds to the third millenium a.C. and is characterized by the presence of great herds of oxen: it’s the age of the shepherds. / In the scenes of familiar life painted with realistic style the interest of the artist is towards a dynamics and perspective picture. / The overnight stay is carried out in tends at the field of Giabbaren, to leave from which for the walk to the discovery of the rocky paintings. / In the afternoon of the 10th day come down from the plateau and resumption of the shipment in cross-country vehicles.
