Nathalie ? / 15 April 05

I changed my name at the age of 34. I never had a middle name until I joined the military last year, but they insisted that I have an N in my name. Instead of Susanne N. I decided since I have to pay to make this name legal and since I do not want to change all my military papers, I will simply pick a middle name for that N. There were several choices. Natasha, Nikita ( which was my dogs name) and well then there was Natalie. A friend helped me pick then the final name that I choose which is Nathalie and the unique spelling of that name.

I am Susanne Nathalie

I know that my PS works is a bit sloppy. I forgot to blow up the picture first before working on it and then when I posted it I realized my mistake. Not in the mood to take it down again and starting all over. I got lucky to even get a shot for today's SP in the first place.

Very nicely done. A sultry or is it a pensive look? Nice lighting, you accentuate your hair well. Tell us more of your military experience.

Ithe Navy those who have no middle name end up with NMN (no middle name). Written out as an 'N' could be confused as a middle initial. When filling out forms, they must put NMN for middle initial because leaving it blank means it was not filled out completely.

Susanne, we are usually our own worst critics. I agree with the general consensus here that this SP looks fine. We cannot know what you might have imagined it should look like, for you may have been desiring a different look. Perhaps in your next SP you will have more time to accomplish that which you had hoped to do with this one. Keep up the good work and good luck with all that is keeping you so busy. (There is always a light at the end of the tunnel)

I think its nice Susanne! Hey, care to tell me why you had to have a middle name for the military?

(Still chuckling at Dennis' story, below).

Well, darn it, this is a good shot, and I loved the story of your middle name. Congrats on choosing it (most of us don't get to).

Nice image -- good expression (attitude, to repeat Jude's comment).

Your middle initial/name story reminds me of a story told by a colleague of mine named P.J.Corum. The initials actually have to associated name. When he went into the Army and entered Corum, P J in his first form, he got chewed out for not spelling out the P and the J. The sergeant wouldn't accept the explanation that there was nothing to spell out. So, P.J. entered Corum, P(only) J(only). For the rest of his army career, he was officially Ponly Jonly Corum. True story.

Very nice red tones, Susanne. Good placement in the frame as well.
If it's sloppy PS work, eh, it works.

Got a little bit of attitude in this photo. I like that..lol
Nathalie is a nice middle name. My oldest daughter has no middle name because nothing was pretty enough to go with "Kerensa".. she hated that.lol

What a great story, I love your new name, it has lots of character and strength as do you alone.
This is a nice SP for you, really shows your character. You have a strong but yet very caring appearance to your self.

Nice name, very nice story, and a very impressive image, all the more so for being hurried.
