It was the weekly meeting of the diving club I'm with this evening. It was quite an important one
too, as on Friday, I'm off to Loch Fyne on the west coast for a day's diving. Thankfully the trip,
which would normally take close to three and a quarter hours, will be broken up, by a day working
out of our Edinburgh office. Then it's a short hop over to the west coast, via Glasgow, and onto
Loch Fyne.
Hopefully at this point we'll get three day's of glorious sunshine, calm sea's, and some really high
visability underwater. It also looks as though the sea temperatures, will be like the carribean,
and settle somewhere between 4-9 degrees. Toasty.
This is a view from Aberdeen Boat Club (the site of the local rowing club). There's a bar attached
to the social area of the club, and we usually meet up there for a couple of drinks on a Wednesday.
The river was lovely and calm last night, and the reflections drew my eye. The building is
Riverside House, a recently built serviced office complex. There seems to be a lot more buildings
going up around Aberdeen which are as cleverly lit as this one. Incidentally the camera isn't on a
slope, the bridge you see in the foreground slopes from a higher point to a lower one, and gives the
impression that the horizon's falling!
