Day 2 - Unique Spring blossoms and water at Death Valley NP

With 3x the annual rainfall this winter, the spring wildflower blossoms were great and there
was plenty water at the Badwater basin.

We found a nice campsite in the morning and visited the Badwater basin, hiked up the Natural Bridge
wadi, checked out the Devil's golfcourse and visited the Harmony Borax Works.

I really love the flatness of this shot. And the color. It's hard to think of the desert having a spring with flowers but this beautiful.

very interesting to see the wild flowers growing on land that looks so dry. a beautiful place but I think I would find it bleak without the flowers.
